Monday was Presidents Day and the Hall Family brings us a cherry pie every year. This year our delivery girls were Audrey and Amy. Presidents Day is also "Dont wash your hair or put on make-up day" Thanks for the pie cute girls, next time bring the boys out! Earlier in the evening we met Dani and Brennon at Applebees to use a gift certificate that was burning a whole in my purse. Brennon and McKenna were mortified that I ordered one of every appetizer on the menu (they were half off, I couldnt pass it up) Then we had a couple of desserts. Cant figure out why I am coming in 17th out of 22 on our Biggest Looser challange???
Sunday was a cool day. Three stakes met and were made into 5 stakes! Our new Stake is called the Queen Creek Chandler Heights Stake. We get to keep our same Stake Presidency - Richardson, Matheson and Riggs. This is a picture of the new building going up across the street, South of Riggs and Greenfield Acres.
I love taking pictures of food, its like re-eating it when I post it.
This is Autum and Regan (when they werent heavily engrossed in conversation)
Little bit about our Aurich friends. We were on a cruise, probably about our 3rd or 4th one and so we knew how the whole seating for dinner takes place and we werent looking forward to it. But the first night on this cruise we sat at the Aurich table and our lives have never been the same. Well, they are pretty great. Blaine and Lisa became our fast friends and we hung the whole trip and its been about 4 years and still love when we can get together with them.
One of our favorite stories was when we were in line on the ship ready to go to a port. Blain and Lisa were quite a bit behind us and everyone was waiting patiently when you hear some crazy guy yell "Hey Bill, hows the rash coming along"? Then Bill waits for a second a yells back "Great, thanks for your ointment". There were probably 200 people that went from dead quiet to laughing. I was so proud. Lisa is adorable and tries to give Blaine the spotlight, because he's good at it, but she is beautiful and one of those girls that softly captures everyones eyes (including the 18 year old boys) She's about 4'11 and we call her the world tallest midget, because she lets us. They got crazy a couple of years ago and had two more kids. I admire her for being able to stay sane while trying to quietly raise 5 kids, while her husband has a HOME office.
Saturday afternoon we got to go listen to Kayla sing at "Regional Choir". This is her third year to make it and we are so proud of her and all she does to improve her talents.
