Friday night we got to watch Kayla perform at the "Basha Talent Show". It was weird how emotional I got watching her. Im always proud of her, but I had some sadness set in as I realized I probably wont get to watch her perform too much after she graduates. I use to love watching her play volleyball, but this is different. She LOVES singing and its a big part of who she is. I'll be soaking up every minute I can watching her and listening to her singing around the house.
These are some of Kaylas buds: Malorie, Aubry, Kayla and Snoopy!
Saturday night was the Annual LIGHT Benefit Concert. It was so energetic! Quick costume changes, funny announcer, sooo many different number, it really was fun.
Kayla is in front kicking up her boots.
She's on the right side of the amazing Gary.
Kayla had alot of friends and family there to support her. It means so much to her and Bill and I that our family and friends are there - THANKS!!! We appreciate you all!
Keven, Daniel, Alex, Katelyn and Kayla
Grandma and Grandpa Guttery and Aunt Fern and Aunt Kay are always at her performances - Thanks for sitting through the loud music! (She has another one this Wednesday???) Last night they put on a Fireside in the Chandler Stake and she sang "He came for me". That is where I feel her voice is the purest and she has the biggest influence for good. Big thanks to Tim, her teacher that provides all these opportunities to grow in spirituality, talents and confidence.
