No, Kayla isn't praying, but about midnight I tried to get her to go to bed and this is what she looked like. She wouldn't wake up, so I asked her if I could set her alarm, she mumbled crazy stuff and then I shook her some more and asked her what time I should set her alarm for. She said something like "3 times, 3 times". I shook her and said "Kayla, you have to wake up on time, should I set your alarm for 5:00?" She said "5'zzz". I said "OK, 5:00" Then she, with her eyes still closed said super loud "50, 30. 50, 30" I hope she meant 5:30?
This morning I got joy from this shot. Hard working Tessa, scrubbing down the old BBQ and the stucco on the columns. Notice the soggy rag in her hand below.
I sold fruit, went grocery shopping and put together a small "turning 40" emergency kit for Jen, and we were only 30 minutes late for dinner. Jen and Trish have the same b-day so the crowns for them, the black dunce hats for the rest of the gang.
Then Trish had a family party :-(
I showed my friends my selfish bishops wife issues and we were off to Jesterz, its becoming a regular spot. We tried to get a normal picture, but April has a "squinting" problem, so we tried to work with her on the first picture.
I think she is an adorable squinter.
This was one of our fav. skits were Thor was Hungry, Hungry Hippo. Good times, good times.....
Then after the show we went to a scary hospital in the middle of Phoenix to see Cody (a deacon in our ward) who was in a scout zip-line accident earlier in the day. He's gonna be fine, but there was a 7 year old boy next to him that was run over that day - so sad, but he's gonna be fine too. Roller Coaster day.
